I graduated from Helsinki university back in 2009. Since graduation I  have had special interest in cosmetic dentistry. I have actively attended courses in the field of cosmetic dentistry all around the world.

I am an accrediated member of the BACD (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and member (accrediation candidate) of the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). I also work as an international lecturer and hands-on trainer on dental materials and techniques for Ivoclar Vivadent (Opinion leader 11/2020->) and Tokyama Dental. I also work as a international trainer / lecturer for Canon in the field of dental photography.

I try to practice cosmetic dentistry as minimally invasive as possible. Most of my treatments are ABB treatments, ie Align, Bleach and bond treatments, where the teeth are first aligned in a reasonable time, (normally 6-12 months) with clear aligners or tooth colored fixed braces, then bleached and in the end I use esthetic composite edge bonding and ICON resin infiltration technique for finishing. Treatments can often be carried out by drilling a minimal amount of own dental enamel. Treatments done this way are as safe as possible for the patient. Sometimes the teeth have bigger old fillings, wear or color defects, then instead of composites, I use hand-made ceramic veneers to make the outcome as perfect as possible. I also try to follow every treatment I have done after it has been completed for a few years. Check up´s and controls ensure that the occlusion functions properly and the result will be as long lasting as possible.
